Founded in the 1890s along with the development of the Grindstone Neck summer community.
The club is located in Downeast Maine across Frenchman Bay from Mount Desert Island and Bar Harbor.
Home of the local one-design Knockabouts built in 1907.
It is open from Fourth of July until Labor Day. There is racing, cruising and a Junior Sailing program.
