Barton Marine will be showcasing their extensive dinghy offering at the virtual RYA Dinghy Show on the 27-28th February. Alongside the comprehensive product range displayed on their unique virtual boat show stand, Barton will introduce the winner of the 2021 Rising Star competition, Sailor Harry, hosting a schedule of talks each afternoon as well as being available all weekend to answer dinghy sailing questions from those attending from around the world. Throw in a competition to win a £100 Barton voucher and a visit to the Barton stand needs no second thought!
Barton will focus attention on their Laser Kits and Dinghy Boomstrut at the show. The range of five Laser Kits provide durable, lightweight replacements for the standard factory fit systems. Barton kits offer performance advantages and designs at prices that beat the competition.
Generally thought of as yacht technology, the Dinghy Boomstrut supports booms on sailing boats up to 16ft/4.9m, with its patented flexing spring providing fast response and a constant force for optimum vang efficiency. Also featured are the acclaimed Ratchet Block and BabySplice, and visitors can easily add product fact sheets to their show bags for future reference.
Make sure to check out the Barton videos - especially the new video showing just how strong its dinghy blocks are: "How to Destroy a Barton Size 0 Block!" Watch Barton's legendary durability in action, but don't try this at sea! Kaboom!
Sailor Harry, the Barton Rising Star for 2021 will be in conversation with Christian Brewer, Barton Marine Global Sales Manager, each afternoon at 2pm. Discussing how he fell in love with sailing, his route into racing and his transition from Topper to Laser class, Harry also invites all questions you may have about youth dinghy sailing. Other talks over the weekend include Barton team members Dave Hawkins, Pete Pollard and Dermot/Hannah Bealey. Visit the Barton Talks website page to join in the conversation live.
The team will be on hand to chat about deck equipment throughout the show and look forward to meeting dinghy sailors from across the world during this unique opportunity for the whole planet to get involved at the RYA Dinghy Show with no travel or masks required!
