Congratulations to all who took part in Bart's Bash 2021 last month. Bart's Bash is the flagship annual event of the Andrew Simpson Foundation, inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Andrew 'Bart' Simpson MBE who passionately believed that everyone should have the chance to try sailing and enjoy the many benefits that it brings.

Bart's Bash is a global sailing race taking place at hundreds of venues, with thousands of sailors in hundreds of different classes of boat around the world. More and more sailors compete each year, with people of all ages and abilities getting out on the water and racing, raising funds not only for ASF but for their own clubs and charities.

This year there were 2315 competitors and 124 venues taking part, and it was fantastic to see so many out on the water.
