The Jersey's combined sailing clubs' organising committee is delighted to announce that Butterfield in Jersey will be the new title sponsor of the Jersey Regatta in 2026 as part of a three-year agreement. In taking up the baton, Butterfield is joining a distinguished line-up of local firms who have provided outstanding support since the Regatta's debut in 1999.

Regatta Chairman Bill Harris said: "We are thrilled to welcome Butterfield as our new title sponsor. Their presence in the Channel Islands and commitment to the community, in addition to their support of maritime initiatives, makes them an ideal partner for the 28th edition of this exciting 'flagship' event."

Richard Saunders, Managing Director of Butterfield in the Channel Islands and UK, said: "We are delighted to be the title sponsor of the Jersey Regatta for the next three years. Supporting the Regatta is not just about celebrating sailing, it is also about the tradition and culture of coastal communities like Jersey and bringing people together in the spirit of friendly competition. Our logo proudly features a mythical sea dragon, a wyvern, which symbolises our connection to the oceans and so we very much look forward to the start of our partnership with the Butterfield Jersey Regatta in 2026."

The Regatta, scheduled to run from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th September 2026, is designed to provide everyone with fun, competitive racing and vibrant shore-side activity. Taking place in the beautiful natural arena of St Aubin's Bay and adjacent coastal waters, the Regatta is an open event for boats in cruiser, sportsboat, dayboat, dinghy and sport catamaran classes from across the Channel Islands, United Kingdom and France. The key attraction for the IRC cruiser classes will, undoubtedly, be the 13th GBR IRC Channel Islands Championships (rorcrating.com).

Entry will be through the Notice of Race due for publication on the official notice board, www.jerseyregatta.com early next year.
