The Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA), in partnership with Lorraine's Café and High Tides Café, will host the FREE 5th Annual Bahamas Cruisers Gathering in Black Point, Exumas, March 19-22, 2026.
This NO-FEE event is open to all cruisers and the local community and is designed to build lasting friendships while celebrating authentic Bahamian culture.
The multi-day gathering includes live Bahamian music and bands, an expanded Junkanoo street parade, dinghy concerts, karaoke, beach games and family activities, guided island walks, and the return of authentic Bahamian sloop racing, including a mid-ocean race and additional race days in the anchorage.

A daily cruisers net begins March 10, 2026 at 0830 on VHF Channel 68, with Net Control based at High Tides Café.
Community support is encouraged. Cruisers may bring donation items such as school supplies, sports equipment, musical instruments, and health or personal care supplies. A community auction helps offset event costs so all activities remain free.
Community outreach will include beach cleanups, coffee meetups, guided island walks, and continued progress toward a Community Beach Toilet Facility. Volunteers are welcome.

Food, drinks, BBQ, and beach bar offerings will be available for purchase. Cruisers are encouraged to support local Black Point businesses whose generosity helps make this gathering possible.
