The Cruising Association is hosting Cruising Skills Week, a series of FREE evening webinars designed to share practical knowledge, expert insight and first-hand experience, and a one-day 'Go Affordable Boating Seminar':

  • 23 March: Buying your first boat: Pitfalls and Top Tips and Boat Insurance / From Purchase to Policy - Getting It Right

  • 24 March: Cruising for Beginners: Preparing Yourself and Your Boat / Rigging: Check it, Tune it, Trust it

  • 26 March: Safety and Skills: Emergency Procedures and Man Overboard / Top Tips from the RNLI

  • 27 March: Cruising Routes on the European Inland Waterways: Preparation, Routes and Planning / Insights from the UK Harbour Masters Association: What Cruisers Need to Know

  • 28 March: Go Affordable Boating Seminar (in-person and online) including: Cruising on a Budget, Sailing on a shoestring, Zen and the Art of Boat Maintenance, Getting afloat without a boat, Learning from Experience and Boat Owning Hacks
