Backstay has introduced two new engine maintenance logbooks for boat owners and marine technicians: the Single Engine Maintenance Logbook and the Multiple Engine Maintenance Logbook. Both are built to replace scattered notes, memory, and guesswork with a single organized record, so an owner or technician always knows what was serviced, when, and what's due next.
Each logbook runs 80 pages and holds space for over 900 service entries, with dedicated sections for a maintenance log, checklist and schedule, winterizing and commissioning logs, fuel log, and spare parts inventory. Both were designed with ABYC-certified expertise, so the layout matches how a real service routine actually runs rather than a generic notebook format.
The Multiple Engine edition accommodates up to four engines and is compatible with both gasoline and diesel setups, making it suited to twin- and multi-engine cruisers as well as larger charter and work boats. The Single Engine edition is sized for the everyday single-engine boat owner who wants a straightforward, dedicated maintenance record.
