For the first time Bavaria Yachtbau is publishing images, technical data as well as a product video showing all the features of the new Cruiser 56.

The longest yacht in the Bavaria portfolio will celebrate its world premiere at boot 2013 in Düsseldorf and can already be ordered by dealers. This new 17-meter flagship of the Bavaria portfolio has an innovative design and delivers optimal sailing characteristics.

The newly developed Farr designed hull offers particularly comfortable places to sleep, with over 180 cm wide beds in the stern. At the same time, the new hull and keel layout enhances sailing capabilities. As a result, the Cruiser 56 is surprisingly uncomplicated to handle considering its size. The yacht can also be fitted with the new dock and trim control systems making her also easy to handle with a small crew.

On deck, the Cruiser 56 has an impressively variable cockpit with plenty of space around its two steering wheels. The very large cockpit table can be converted to two comfortable sun loungers after meals. The long seat banks and easily accessible lines mean that the Cruiser 56 can also be steered comfortably while sitting. In addition to the large-size swimming platform, the Cruiser 56 also boasts a dinghy garage which can stow a 310 cm long dinghy including outboard.

Up to ten people can sleep in the luxurious interior, making the Cruiser 56 the ideal yacht for long trips. Bavaria's new interior, designed by English yacht design agency Design Unlimited, is outstandingly robust and stylish. Similarly to the new Cruiser 33, its big sister also stands apart for the wealth of solid wood used to craft it.

The combination of three different types of timber and a variety of upholstery fabrics, as well as the modern forms inside make the 56-foot boat a genuinely luxurious yacht. In addition to these there are three different cabin versions (3, 4 or 5) in six designs. The Cruiser 56 responds to all space requirements and can be adapted for all purposes and to suit owners’ individual tastes. Each design also provides an additional skipper’s cabin in the ship’s bow, allowing 11 people to sleep on the yacht at a time.
