Waka Racing back in the Alpari World Race Tour game + Video

Waka Racing has just capped off a great week of racing in Match Cup Sweden, finishing second overall. This result moves the team up the overall Alpari World Race Tour Rankings to be well within striking distance of the current leaders. Putting us back in the hunt for the overall World Championship.

Match Cup Sweden marked a turn around within the team that we had all been working so hard towards after a slow and disappointing start to the season. Although we were bitterly disappointed to go down 2-3 to Bjorn Hansen, we know lady luck was not on our side that day. However if we keep sailing at that level, victory is very close and that just makes us even hungrier!

For now the team splits off to different corners of the world until we reconvene for revenge at the next leg of the Alpari Match Race Tour, the Chicago Match Cup.

See you August 6th – 11th
