New Aventura 43, light, fast, stable, roomy - at a reasonable price

by Des Ryan on 28 Oct 2013
Aventura on its first sail SW
Aventura 43 is the latest model from Aventura Catamarans, constructed in Tunisia. The ideal catamaran for family cruising or to put into a charter fleet. This catamaran has no less than five interior versions, from three to six cabins with bathrooms.

The stylish and modern lines are designed by Martin Defline. Light, fast, stable, comfortable and roomy with a touch of luxury - these are the most important qualities. All at a very reasonable price.

The interior living space is huge, and comes in several versions; the standard version has three cabins and three bathrooms, optionally 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms or 5 cabins and 5 bathrooms or 6 cabins and 6 bathrooms. The galley kitchen with its island comprising the chiller drawer 200l and corian worktops will satisfy the most ambitious of galley chefs. The deck salon accommodates the kitchen, salon seating and navigation table.

Behind the sliding doors is the large and safe cockpit with a table and comfortable seating. Each hull has an integrated bathing platform with easy access to the water.

At the forward end of the catamaran we find large trampolines and deck space for relaxation and enjoyment. The sails are handled from the helmsman's seat to the left side of the cockpit. From there is good visibility for manoeuvres and handling the catamaran.

The Aventura 43 is in its standard configuration powered by two Nanni Diesels 37,5HP with sail drive. Optionally, 2 x 50HP or a hybrid installation with electrical engines from Ocean Volt can be installed. It is currently sold in Europe only, and at around EU300,000 is an excellent buy.
