What an amazing month August has been, with our busiest sales period on record and a dozen new customers joining the Multihull Central fleet of owners around Australia.

With finally some time to breath, we are now looking forward to our regatta season, with the Lock Crowther, St Helena Cup, Sydney Twilight Series, Seawind Moreton Bay and Pittwater Regattas all in the next few months – if you own a multihull and want some social racing or want to experience a multihull, there are plenty of opportunities.

Record Sales driven by new interest in catamarans
The month of August has broken all previous sales records for Multihull Central, with no less than ten boats sold, including a new Outremer 5X, new Seawind 1250 XPAC, three new Seawind 1160 LITEs and five used multihulls sold, plus two more under contract, Read More.


Australian Outremer 5X Blog
The newest members of the Outremer owner’s community are Doug and Robin Hibberd and their family, who recently confirmed their order for a new Outremer 5X with Multihull Central. Doug has launched a fantastic blog with indepth information on the boat and a great video of his sea trial in France. View here.


Lock Crowther Regatta, Broken Bay, RMYC
3rd-5th October
Multihull Central are pleased to be a major sponsor for the upcoming Lock Crowther Regatta to be hosted on Pittwater from the third to fifth of October, at the RYMC. All multihulls are invited with divisions for cruising boats and racing boats – even Sean Langman’s ORMA 60 trimarans will be competing. For the notice of race, click here.


St Helena Cup, Wynnum Manly Yacht Club
4th-5th October
With Multihull Central’s Brisbane office in full swing, we look forward to supporting the St Helena Cup as a major sponsor of the multihull division. The St Helena cup is the biggest regatta held on Moreton Bay with up to 100 boats expected and a strong multihull fleet. We encourage all multihull owners to join us for a great weekend of racing. Multihull Central Twilight Sailing Series
Kicks Off Friday 24th October, 2014
Multihull Central is excited to announce the inaugural Multihull Twilight Rally Series to be held once a month between October 2014 and March 2015 on Sydney Harbour. These social races will be in conjunction with the Balmain Sailing Club and Multihull Central. Entry form.
