Sailing World Cup Hyeres - Burton goes for Laser hat-trick + video

Australian Laser sailor Tom Burton has his head down concentrating on improving his technique and decision making after a slow start to his European season.

So focused is the Laser class world ranked number one sailor Burton, that he looked blankly for a second when asked his results in the last two Hyeres World Sailing Cup events. He won them both in 2013 and 2014.

Burton says he has not sailed at his best this season but feels he is ready for a good result. He says 'Any of ten or so sailors could win in Hyeres if they are having a good week as the class is so competitive.

'It will be' on' from the first race here, it feels like the World's, with everyone taking their preparation very seriously, over the last week here.

'Expecting building breezes and some very good racing and yes now I am reminded a hat-trick would be a good result.'
