John Cowpe has just returned from an exciting trip meeting with Lagoon at their factory in Bordeaux, France.
The vast, modern and technologically cutting edge factory on the Garonne River, produces the “big” catamarans, yachts and super yachts for Lagoon, including the all new, eagerly anticipated Lagoon Seventy8, the focus of John’s visit.
This huge, impressive vessel has the impeccable finishes you’d find on a super yacht. It boasts multiple hand finished parts, and mouldings are exquisitely well done.
With a large flybridge and plenty of configurable space, elegance and refinement abound. It is without compromise, seamlessly harmonising outdoor and indoor living areas to create the ultimate in comfort for life at sea.
Also an excellent value proposition, the Lagoon Seventy8 comes with all the toys you would expect and wish for, with, by comparison, the equivalent space of a 120ft mono-hull.
Hull 1 is currently available and will be at the Yachting Festival at Cannes this September before heading down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November.
Hull 2 will be cruising in Europe out of Bordeaux this August, returning to Australia in time for Summer 2017.
The Lagoon Seventy8 is a truly exceptional vessel combining unsurpassed comfort, design and performance, built to exacting standards at the Bordeaux shipyard.
