Yanmar’s President Takehito Yamaoka commented on the partnership: 'For many years, Yanmar's marine engines have been much loved by pleasure boat enthusiasts all over the world. As a manufacturer of performance marine engines, it gives us great pride that we have been selected for our engines’ power, environmental performance and extreme reliability to become the Official Marine Engines Partner for the 35th America’s Cup. Being able to support the VIP program at the America’s Cup is a great honor for us, and we look forward to the upcoming events.'
