Trent Gay a champion for the Australian Marine and Superyacht Industry was acknowledged for his achievements at the annual Awards Gala Presentation Dinner.

Trent won Export Industry Champion in front of a sold out gala dinner of over 260 industry peers who had gathered to acknowledge and support the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals in the Australian Marine Export, Superyacht and Commercial Industries.

Maryanne Edwards CEO of AIMEX said ‘Trent is a true and deserving recipient of this prestigious award and an asset to the industry’.

Trent has invested heavily and consistently over the last two decades in promoting the Australian Marine Industry across the globe including Singapore, Fort Lauderdale, Thailand, Tahiti and Europe. A major voice for the Australian Marine and Superyacht Industry his latest project The Gold Coast Superyacht Rendezvous is an example of his vision for the industry and his willingness to support it.

Trent is a strong advocate for creating a positive progressive environment for the future and remains firmly focused on continually evolving to provide outstanding services and facilities to the marine and superyacht industry in Australia. A staunch lobbyist driving home key industry issues at local, state and federal government levels on matters such as dredging, Gold Coast customs clearance and recently supporting the lobby for changes to the Australian Superyacht charter regulations.
