Seven Seas Cruising Association announces move of home base

by SSCA on 9 Jun 2017
SSCA Seven Seas Cruising Association
Seven Seas Cruising Association, an association promoting the liveaboard and cruising life for over 65 years, has recently moved their administrative offices from Florida to Summerville, South Carolina where SSCA’s operations will be managed by KFR Services Inc.

Founded in 1975, KFR is a family-owned business that provides administrative support to associations and businesses.. Said Rich Boren, SSCA Board President, “While we have been very ably led by our previous Administrative Director, Judi Mkam, the cost of maintaining our own office and staff has become burdensome to SSCA’s growth. The management agreement with KFR gives us not only a highly experienced Executive Director, but also paid support staff for less than SSCA has paid in the past.”

In addition to executive and administrative leadership. KFR offers expertise specifically in the area of operating membership organizations focused on boating and cruising, as KFR has run AGLCA—America’s Great Loop Cruising Association—for the past 10 years.

“We are delighted to work with Seven Seas Cruising Association,” said KFR President, Kim Russo. “SSCA is an excellent and revered organization that provides outstanding resources and events for all cruising and live-aboard boaters. We look forward to helping them continue to do so and to grow in membership so that they can help even more cruisers in the future.”
