Accon Marine pop-up cleats enhance boating safety

Accon Marine pop-up cleats enhance boating safety Accon Marine
Few things can pull the fun out of a day on the water like stubbing or even breaking a toe on a hard metal boat cleat.

Innovative 202 Series Pop-Up® Cleats from Accon Marine retract flush with the deck when not in use, minimizing tripping and snagging hazards onboard.

Made of marine-grade 316 stainless steel, these attractive cleats pop up at the push of a button, then simply push back down when no longer needed. When raised, they function exactly like traditional fixed models. Retracted, they eliminate the potential for painful stubbed toes—an important safety consideration for young families. Anglers love them too, since they won't snag fishing gear like traditional cleats can.

Available in 114mm, 152mm, 203mm and 254mm sizes to fit a wide range of boats, each cleat is shipped with a backing plate that also serves as a convenient cut-out template. Waterproofing cups are optional.

Mounting is easy, requiring only four stainless steel bolts. The company likewise offers stud mount versions of Pop-Up® Cleats that install with no visible screw holes in 152mm, 203mm and 254mm sizes.
