Hamilton Island's Hahn Premium Race Week pictures

by Andrea Francolini on 29 Aug 2005 Fantastic action last week at Hamilton island during the 2005 Hahn Premium Race Week.

Over 180 boats competed in the windy and sometimes wet Whitsundays. It was almost a pity that the race came to an end when it did - as the wind was still blowing stronger than ever.

These strong conditions provided quite a show for the sailors and the media.

A little carnage was on the menu with the big winds and opposing tides - it sure
kept everyone on their toes.
