New Bavaria Vision 44 ordered for New Zealander

by Sail-World on 28 Jul 2006
The pretty lines of the new Bavaria 44 are apparent. Already one has been ordered by a New Zealand owner. Bavaria Yachts
2006 is proving to be an exciting year for Bavaria Yachts, who have increased their market share by over 15% - flying in the face of worldwide market trends. The company have also launched their new Bavaria Vision range.

Heralded as the most important new models to come out of Bavaria Yachts in many years, these three new deck saloon models of 40, 44 and 50 feet, are attracting a great deal of interest in NZ.

International Marine Brokers have their first order for a 44 Vision, which came out of the factory in Germany earlier this month and is due to arrive in NZ in early November.

The new hull design with more ballast and significantly enlarged sail area will reward her owner with improved speed.

A higher level of specification and a longer standard equipment list give this model an impressive competitor advantage.

Vision 44
LOA 13.70m
Waterline length 11.55m
Beam 4.39m
Draft 1.80m
Sail area approx 113m2
Engine Volvo D2-40, 55hp
Cabins 3 doubles

The new Vision range reflects the type of investment in new facilities and technology that characteristically makes a Bavaria yacht very good value for money.
