Product of the week- The simple wristband for seasickness

Queaz-Away wristband - the simple non-drug solution SW
There's nothing like seasickness to turn a good crew member into a comatose liability, and in the worst cases it can be life threatening. So what do you keep on board your boat or carry in your duffel bag against this perennial challenge for some of those who go to sea? One great non-drug solution is the wristband.

The fact is that choppy seas can cause motion sickness to strike at any time. Even well-seasoned sailors are usually not immune, and sometimes it depends on their state of health before departure. So Queaz-Away Travelers' Wristbands from Davis Instruments is one non-drug solution which may do the trick and a mighty addition to your range of aids.

How does it work?
The simple plastic nub on the inside of the band applies pressure to the Median Nerve, and work on the principle of acupressure.

In controlled tests motion sickness bands have been shown to be just as effective as certain medications which are used to combat motion sickness. They can be worn before the activity that will potentially cause motion sickness to prevent the effects, or during motion sickness to alleviate the nausea and disorientation. They are drug-free, relatively inexpensive and do not cause any side effects that may be associated with drugs that are used to relieve motion sickness. They are also reusable.

These one-size-fits-all, washable wristbands from Davis are made of tough, long lasting materials. With no complicated buckles or adjustments, they're safe and easy to use.

Sailors simply slip a pair of Davis Queaz-Away Travelers' Wristbands onto their wrists, preferably before departing, position them and enjoy their trip. A handy carrying case is also included.

They are available in many pharmacies, or simply go to the marine division of the www.davisnet.com!Davis_Instruments_website
