The iconic Anglesey Offshore Dinghy Race race, first run in 1965, kindly supported by ContractCars.com will be running on the 13th August as part of the Allen Endurance Series 2023.Contact:
The race runs from Beaumaris to Traeth Bychan via the Menai Straits, through Puffin Island sound with a turning mark off Moelfre, a distance of over 15 nautical miles for the monohulls and up to 30 miles for cats.
It is open to monohulls with a Portsmouth Yardstick of 1142 or lower and to multihulls with a PY of 926 or lower. Frequent visitors include Olympic sailors as well as past and present National Champions.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it there will b racing open to visitors at RWBSWC on the Saturday, a social evening with live music on Saturday night (tickets will be available separately) before the endurance race on the Sunday.
