Byte Inland Championships at Cardiff Yacht Club this weekend

The Byte Inland Championships takes place as part of the Cardiff Yacht Club Annual Regatta this weekend. Racing takes place in Cardiff Bay which, protected by the barrier, makes an excellent inland venue!
This is the first major event since Hartley Boats took over as manufacturers for the class and as such it feels like a new beginning. Racing is open to all Bytes both C2 and Classic although C2's will predominate.
As a worldwide class Bytes, which are the boat chosen for the Youth Olympics, have become a very youth oriented class but in Britain they are sailed by helms of all ages and both sexes. A friendly and competitive weekend is expected.
