Throughout our history, we have been specialists in developing fast, modern performance cruisers for owners who aim for sailing perfection at sea. Our boats have won races, sailed through tough weather and circumnavigated the world; at same time lived out dreams of the highest class. For almost 40 years, we have gathered a wealth of experience – primarily with the purpose of seeking and building the perfect yacht design - fulfilling the dreams of our clients.

Time flies, the world changes, and so do our boats. Over the years, we have been driven to seek the unique, to learn from our clients, to adapt to the markets. X-Yachts is one of the very few yards world-wide, where the entire design process, from hull design & naval architecture, deck design, structural engineering, interior design and technical installa-tion design are handled "in house".

These are some of the reasons why we still are able to create the ultimate perfection.

The Pure X Range is the result of four decades of experience, enabling us to introduce another new beauty, the fourth addition to the X Range: The new X46.

We have given her elegant and uncluttered lines in combination with easy sailing, and a lot of commitment to each and every little detail. This is the essence of X-Yachts and the foundation of our Danish yard.

We believe that all this has contributed to the X46 being nominated for the European Yacht of the Year 2018.

The first X46 was launched in the middle of August and test-sailed by the X-Yachts De-sign & Quality Crew with success. After test sailing, the first boat rushed off to boat shows in Scandinavia and Northern Germany.

The X46 can be acquired at the price of at €399,500 (excl of VAT). Included in this price is X-Yachts' standard quality package, valued at €69,900.

X-Yachts Designer's comments about the X46:

  • The X46, yet another sibling to the latest successful range of X Yachts models, sits mid in-between the very successful X43 model launched two years ago, and the X49, launched earlier this year.
  • The X46 is built utilising advanced but well-proven build technologies, which set the sailing qualities apart from others. Epoxy-infused, oven-baked sandwich cored hull and structure for maximum strength/weight ratio, steel galvanized keel floor girder system for maximum safety, high quality mast and discontinued rod rigging for maximum sail plan control and minimized weight and pitch.
  • The hull design follows the latest design philosophy which maximises the recognized and appreciated sailing performance, whereas the deck layout is a combination of the features of both her siblings, the X43 and the X49.
  • The double steering wheel provides light and precise steering.
  • Plentiful of coach roof port lights are standard, of which 3 of them each side are openable for improved ventilation. Each aft cabin has three openable hatches ensuring optimum ventilation.
  • Teak comes standard in the cockpit and is optional on side decks and on the coach roof top as well as on the electrical operated bathing platform. Flexiteek is a new option, launched in the Summer of 2018.
  • The yacht is delivered with an ultra-modern common rail diesel engine, delivered with a standard 2 blade Flexofold folding propeller.
  • The interior layout has two almost identical aft cabins, with the difference that the port aft cabin is a little wider, enabling this cabin to be offered in a split berth version. The large owner's cabin accommodates a king-sized double berth and the gal-ley is largely L-shaped and well appointed. Last but not least, the X46 has two bath-rooms.
  • To starboard there is a forward facing nav station, electrical switchboard and space for optional navigational, communicational and radio equipment behind locker doors.
