Beneteau & SailTime partner up to create new boating alternatives

Beneteau inaugurated its Boat Club headquarters in Sables d'Olonne, in late August, and has announced the opening of two SailTime bases in Italy in autumn 2018.
The world leader in leisure craft continues to drive growth, by finding new ways to enjoy boating together. The American SailTime, will rely on Beneteau's influence and reputation to set up business in Europe.
SailTime has picked NSS Charter and Spartivento Charter to manage its bases in Tuscany and Salerno, two of Beneteau's historical partners in Italy. The Tuscany base will operate from the Marina Cala de' Medici and the one in Salerno will from the Marina d'Arechi, on the Amalfi Coast.
On top of the Beneteau Boat Club, which focuses on boats under 30 feet, this new service will offer bigger boats, so that people can enjoy boating without having to own a boat.
SailTime offers its members considerable expertise in boat ownership, without all the constraints. Its growth is based on a system that goes beyond charter. When boat owners hand over the management of their boats to SailTime, they can sit back and relax, while they write off their purchase and maintenance costs. This is what makes this offer so interesting and why SailTime is now a leader in the boat industry in the United States. It is also what appealed to Beneteau.
The opening of the first two European SailTime bases in Tuscany and Salerno marks a new milestone in the international expansion of the partnership between the two brands and also confirms the maturity of the Beneteau Boat Club concept. Several bases should be created in Europe and Asia in the next three years.
