Santa's show stopper arrival at Southport Yacht Club's Oxenford Lake Christmas Carols

On Sunday, December 2, Southport Yacht Club will celebrate the festivities of Christmas with free Christmas Carols at the Club's newest facility, Oxenford Watersports Centre.

Located at Damian Leeding Memorial Park, Oxenford, SYC will host a show stopping event with Santa arriving on water thanks to the team at JetPack Events.

Students from Saint Stephen's College will commence proceedings at 6pm followed by several well renowned artists welcoming members of the community to join them for an evening of fabulous entertainment, singing all your favourite Christmas Carols.

Thousands of locals and Club Members are expected to flock to the site from 6pm for a three-hour show of entertainment. Santa's JetPack arrival expecting a big hit from the kids, along with two JetPack shows scheduled.

The newly launched venue café will be open for coffee's, soft drinks and snacks along with popcorn and a sausage sizzle raising money for Youth Sailing. Local food trucks will also be on site throughout the evening.

On water, the Sailing Academy will set a perfect back drop of sailing entertainment as guests arrive.

Southport Yacht Club invite all Club Members, Gold Coast residents and visitors to join them at the inaugural event to celebrate all things Christmas! Bring a blanket, and your very best merry Christmas cheer.

Please note strictly NO BYO alcohol – this is an alcohol-free event. Limited eftpos facilities, cash is recommended for food vendors.
