The latest sailing catamaran from the Fountaine Pajot shipyard, the new 45, is being prepared for her official launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival next month. If you can't make it to the beautiful French Riviera, check out the latest images and video recently released by the shipyard.
The New 45 has many updated features, including an updated helm station for better manoeuvrability, excellent sail area/weight ratio of 8.75 sqm/t, and an optimized hull which is designed for 10% less drag than her predecessor, the Helia 44. The NEW 45 features the biggest lounge deck in its category of similar-sized catamarans and has been designed for incredible comfort all round.
The saloon and galley area of the NEW 45 has been completely redesigned, with new rounded corners throughout, contemporary colour range, and an expansive and comfortable saloon area with ample storage. The new large opening window forward provides incredible ventilation and easy communication with the forward cockpit. The outstanding owner's suite has to be seen to believed; with a generous walk-in shower and separate head, this is a true sanctuary!
