As extremely dangerous Hurricane Dorian passes over the Abacos and on to the US mainland, Amateur Networks are standing by to provide assistance.

The Hurricane Watch Net (HWN.org) is on the air all day until further notice on Amateur Frequency 7.268 LSB and from 7:30 AM until 7:00 PM on 14.325.USB. Most if not all net members have big beam antennas and powerful stations. Remember that, in an emergency, you are free to use any frequency on your SSB radio regardless of what license you have or don't have. Saving lives takes precedence over FCC Rules and regulations.
