Linea Rossa set for the 2019 Rolex Middle Sea Race

Team Linea Rossa will be leaving to attend Rolex Middle Sea Race from Seferihisar Teos Marina...

Royal Malta Yacht Club organized a tough competition sponsored by Rolex and this event is known to be the Mediterranean's most popular offshore racing worldwide. Many ambitious and known athletes will be competing against each-other.

Also, the competition is celebrating its 40th year and the event is expecting nearly 120 sailing boats and 1200 of sportsman to attend to compete.

Our Team Linea Rossa will compete in this challenging race both in the categories of IRC 5 and in the Double Handed where two-seater crews are also evaluated.

On Saturday the October 19th at noon time, the start will be given at the Malta Valletta Grand Harbor in a route of about 600 miles.

Team Linea Rossa will be represented by Onur Tok and Tugrul Elbirler whom will be racing for the first time in two-person class category to develop their experiences about offshore racing.

Linea Rossa is aiming to attend Paris Olympics in 2024 in the category of offshore sailing. This category will be also the first time competition class for Olympics.
