Getting out on the water to go sailing gives many people around the world great pleasure and the chance to relax and escape the stresses of everyday life. In this episode, Dee Caffari talks to Sir Robin again, this time about his views of the unjustified perception that sailing is an inaccessible and expensive sport to enjoy.

The duo encourage more people who have not been out on the water boating for fun, to give it a go in Episode 8 of 80 Seconds with Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, where they try to dispel the myth that boating is only for the elite few and not the many.

There are still 3 episodes of the series remaining as we reach the end of the summer sailing season and several more topics to discuss. The 80 seconds series was created to celebrate his 80th birthday with a new episode launched every month over the course of 2019.
