Now that we have returned our wooden boats to port, we've had a chance to breathe and gather our thoughts. What a wonderful day and what a crowd!

With over 120 wooden sailing, rowing, steaming and cruising boats, we could not have asked for a better turn out. The weather even played the game too!

A simple idea, a sail, designed to bring joy to the general public and to celebrate our wooden boat community with friends.

The Australian Wooden Boat Festival Inc. would like to sincerely thank the following people, groups and sponsors that made this event happen;

Our wooden boat owners and Tall Ship operators (Windeward Bound, Lady Nelson, Yukon, Rhona H); without you, we wouldn't have any event. Thank you.

Our incredible AWBF staff and volunteers for working so tirelessly in organising the event. Our Board and AWBF Inc. Members too.

The MYCT's M.L. Egeria, crew and skipper, Captain Bernie Smith, for hosting our guests, Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Warner.
