Thursday 01 July is the date; Indonesia is the amazing destination for the next live Oyster World Rally webinar.

Starting at 19.00 hrs BST, this webinar will highlight some of the 'must-visit' attractions awaiting the crews taking part in the Oyster World Rally 2022-23 and what makes this circumnavigation so special.

"Our destination webinars are extremely popular, not only with those taking part in the rally, but also for anybody dreaming of a circumnavigation, or who just wants to escape for a short time to beautiful destinations around the world" says Allie Smith, Head of Group Events at Oyster Yachts.

During the webinar, the team will share some of the amazing locations within Indonesia which can be reached either by sea or land during the three week stop over. These include the Komodo National Park, made famous by the only population of Komodo Dragons, as well as the nearby islands of Rinca and Padar. The multi coloured crater lakes at Flores on Mt Kelimutu and Lombok, with its stunning and deserted beaches, surfing and magical waterfalls vie with the popular tourist spots in Bali, nicknamed Island of the Gods, and famous for its laid-back culture, temples and volcanic hills. For those passionate about diving, the Gili Islands are an essential place to visit, with Shark Point, Manta Point and Simon's Reef all within close reach of Gili Gede, home to Marina del Rey, a stopping point for the fleet.

After undertaking vessel checks and using the technical support services provided by the Oyster Support Team, the fleet departs Indonesia for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, before spending time in Mauritius and Reunion Islands, arriving in Cape Town, South Africa for a magical Christmas.

These popular live webinars are part of an extensive programme of support, training and expertise provided by Oyster Yachts for participants in the Oyster World Rally, which starts on 09 January 2022 from Antigua. This rally is already fully subscribed with 30 Oyster Yachts taking part, and many hopeful entrants on the waiting list.

Previous destination guides on the Galapagos Islands and transiting the Panama Canal, French Polynesia, and the islands of Tonga, Fiji and Vanuatu, and Australia are available on the Oyster Yachts website in the dedicated Oyster World Rally section here.

The Oyster World Rally provides a fully supported experience for any Oyster owner who has always dreamed of taking part in a world circumnavigation. The Oyster World Rally team delivers world class support, which includes boat preparation and service, logistics, customs procedures, provisioning, technical training and even providing professional crew through Oyster Yachts Crew finder service.

Anyone wishing to register for the live webinar can do so here.
