For the first time in two years one of the world's leading builders of reliable blue water sailing catamarans Outremer will showcase its latest models, including two world premieres, at the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place from the 7th - 12th September.

A livestream will also air aboard the Outremer 5X as part of a series kick-off, and will feature sailing experts such as Pete Goss, MBE and British yachtswoman Nikki Henderson.

Latest models

The Outremer team will present 4 choice models to the public, including best-selling Outremer 51, which has been serving as the benchmark blue water cruising catamaran for families around the world. The latest generation Outremer 5X will also feature, designed with optimised ergonomics and deck plan to satisfy even the most demanding of sailors, while offering unparalleled safety and comfort.

World Premieres

Debuting as a global first will be the zero-carbon 4.Zero - the latest Outremer project that continues to pave the way for green boating. The model is the first cruising catamaran equipped with a 100% electric motor and without any fossil fuel on board, diesel or gas.

The shipyard will also be presenting the brand new Outremer 55, boasting tilting twin helm stations, 360 unobstructed views with exceptional visibility and ventilation which are the hallmarks of the brand, as well as generous living spaces, including an extendable indoor-outdoor galley island and a modular outdoor saloon. Its innovative design and functionality secured the British Yachting Awards 2020.

Unprecedented growth

The range reflects the unprecedented growth of the brand, which has gone from strength to strength against a backdrop of what has been a challenging time worldwide. With demand doubling in the past two years, Outremer's customer-centered approach continues to foster an engaged community of fledgling enthusiasts and experienced sailors alike.

Its ethos of reliability and superior architecture for remarkable performance is built into its comprehensive end-to-end services; designed to support Outremer owners throughout their journey, from initial conception and hands-on training to maintenance and reselling.

"We are excited to be able to meet again with a larger public at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Not only will we be showing our latest models, but we hope to also share the Outremer experience, which will begin with the first step you take on our newly redesigned booth. It's all about the journey, and it starts here," says Stéphane Grimault, General Director at Outremer.
