The French Islands are back in lockdown this month and movement between the islands is severely restricted with no entry unless you are vaccinated or have a compelling reason.

Dominica has eased entry requirements for vaccinated sailors but unvaccinated must undergo 5-7 days of quarantine. Barbuda initiated an island-wide lockdown at the start of the month with all non-essential travel to the island prohibited. Private yacht crew were not allowed to disembark.

Antigua and Barbuda will only permit entry to vaccinated travelers from 1 October. St. Croix is seeing an increase in cases although the USVIs remain open to yachts as they have throughout the pandemic.

The BVI Premier has announced that from 1 October all fully vaccinated travelers won't have to apply for permission to enter through the BVI Gateway App anymore. Positive cases are surging in Grenada where movement is currently restricted to weekdays for approved activities and only essential businesses are open.

Panama has introduced a list of high-risk countries and the San Blas Islands have re-opened for tourists, although movement between islands is reduced to a minimum.
