The Severn Sailing Association was looking forward to hosting their traditional fall regatta, the J/22 East Coast Championship off Annapolis, MD. It was a great turnout, with nineteen boats participating in this fall classic on the Chesapeake Bay.

The SSA RC/PRO team managed to run seven races for the fleet. Sailing was remarkably close, with just nine points separating the top five teams!

Winning was the Dave Waiting's Solstice team of Natalie Burls and Christine Potts with an 8-2-2-7-5-7-6 tally for 37 pts. Just four points back was Brad Julian's Yard Sail team of Colin Robertson and Lori Schubert with a 2-18-1-16-2-1-1 tally for 41 pts. In third place was Aden King's Riding Dirty team with a record of 6-6-4-12-4-6-5 of 43 pts.

Rounding out the top five were Jeff Todd's Hot Toddy in fourth and Keenan Hilsinger's Uncle Fluffy.
