We can hardly wait and are already raring to go; the enthusiasm for multihulls is intact; the 13th edition of this show devoted entirely to multihulls already promises to be an impressive one, with so many new products concerning sailboats as well as the increasing number of motor boats.
The yards have already revealed some information about 2022, with the trend moving towards catamarans and trimarans that increasingly focus on performance, the technical aspects, comfort, the finishings and interior design. There is a lot of demand with order books filling up and this is boosting the sector.
The line-up for 2022 is already exceptional in terms of the quantity and range of boats, and if we listen to what the builders are telling us, there is much more to come, because sailing on two or three hulls whips up a lot of enthusiasm. Here are just a few World and European premieres as an example:
- Balance 482 / BALANCE shipyard (United-States)
- BALI 4.4 / CATANA group (France)
- CATANA OCEAN CLASS / CATANA group (France)
- C-CAT 48 / C-Catamans shipyard (Italy)
- Dragonfly 40 Ultimate / Dragonfly shipyard (Danemark)
- Lagoon 51 / Lagoon shipyard, Beneteau group (France)
- Libertist 853 / Libertist Yachts shipyard (Poland)
- ORC 57 / Marsaudon Composites shipyard (France)
- Nautitech 44 Open / Nautitech shipyard (France), BAVARIA group
- CK67 / Squalt Marine International (Tunisia)
- Leopard 46PC / Robertson and Caine shipyard (South Africa)
- Windelo 54 / Windelo shipyard (France)
...with many more surprises to come that the yards are keeping quiet about for the moment.
It should also be noted the presentation of almost complete range of manufacturers, such as Excess, Marsaudon Composites, Leopard...
New technologies are becoming increasingly important in this sector, so you simply cannot miss the multihull club design area, which will be dedicated to fantastic ideas and creative thinking in the areas of innovation, design and architecture. The exhibitors' village will perfectly complement all this with everything that multihulls require in terms of equipment, deck hardware, sails, engines and services.
The seaside resort in Occitanie with its harbour in the centre of the town will once again become the "Multihull Capital" for five days, when it hosts this event and shares its passion for sailing on two or three hulls with as many people as possible, quickly turning their dreams into reality.
We look forward to seeing you from 20th to 24th April 2022 in La Grande Motte (Hérault) in the South of France.
