Official video and images of the Excess 14

by Excess Catamarans 27 Oct 2022 10:42 UTC

The Excess 14 is the pure concentrate of Excess DNA. It is the result of innovative architecture, unbiased research work to find out-of-the-box solutions and brand-specific industrial implementation.

It is a cruising yacht that is both fun and playful, with sleek lines.

(Re)discover our newborn through new images and dive into our universe thanks to the official video of the Excess 14.

An instantly recognizable design

Take a low boom, reduced windage thanks to lower freeboard and redesigned hull windows, and you'll get a catamaran with a distinctive look!

Add in an aft-set coachroof, a forward-stepped mast, a composite extended bowsprit (as standard) as well as inverted and inclined bows for more fun!

Finish off with an exposed forefoot and you have a dynamic catamaran that's ready for adventure.

Innovative architecture

The Excess 14 was designed in collaboration with the firm VPLP design, which allowed the teams to benefit from their knowledge of ocean racing and their cutting-edge software.

The bridgedeck clearance was increased for better passage through the water, and the hulls designed asymmetrically to reduce interference drag.

All the comfort of a cruising boat

The Excess 14 is a cruising catamaran that offers comfort and modularity of its living spaces.

The goal is to maintain volume and good headroom, all in a warm and as bright as ever interior design.

A layout never seen before on the market

The Excess 14 is available in several layout versions, in the owner's version and in the charter version.

In the new 3-cabin version, you will find: a central bathroom, a large private dressing area and the option to add extra beds.

In the 4-cabin version, you will find a bathroom and a shower in each cabin! It will also be possible to arrange a skipper cabin in each hull.

And discover our Skylounge option: a lounging space with no compromise to the look or sensations.
