ZEN Yachts debuts at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte

After closing Series A funding round and with the first hull under construction, ZEN Yachts will make their debut at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte.
"We are entering an exciting era of transformation of the yachting industry, and we believe ZEN Yachts will be at the forefront of this transformation" said the newly appointed Sales and Marketing Director at ZEN Yachts, Matic Klemenc.
"The ZEN50 is the first high performance luxury catamaran of her size that is bold enough to not carry a single drop of fossil fuel. She is completely reliant on sustainable sources of energy and is entirely self-sufficient" added chief engineer Julien Mélot, CEO of ZEN Yachts.

Meet up with the Team - On the Esplanade
We will be showcasing our innovative energy system that we've been engineering for months. But that's not all - we've decided to put our system to the test by powering our entire stand using the solar panels and batteries that will be featured on the ZEN50.
As advocates for clean energy, we believe in practicing what we preach, which is why we didn't order electricity from the boat show organizers.

Revolutionizing the Marine Industry - ZEN50
Designed from scratch for ZEN Yachts by award-winning naval architect Julien Me´lot, this full carbon catamaran is the ultimate essence of technology driven, high performance and luxurious, eco-friendly leisure yachting.
With 1kW of highly efficient solar panels per 1000 kg of her light weight, the ZEN50 is capable to achieve complete self-sufficiency in terms of energy production for propulsion as well as for on-board consumers.
Furthermore, the ZEN50 is the first production leisure yacht to be equipped with a wing-sail - Oceanwings32 by Ayro©, which was initially developed for Team Oracle for 2010 America's Cup in Valencia.
