The International Paint Poole Regatta 2024 will be taking place across the late May bank holiday from 25th - 27th May 2024. With exactly a year to go until racing begins, the countdown has officially begun!

Poole Regatta 2024 is not to be missed with the IRC National Championships being hosted at Poole and outside of the Solent for the first time in their history. Bringing top racing sailors from across the country, the Poole Regatta Committee are gearing up for the biggest race weekend since its biannual reincarnation in 2000.

Alongside the IRC National Championship many other keelboat racing classes have already committed to bringing fleets to the Dorset coast, including the high-profile Cape 31 class, Performance 40's and GP Zero's. The J80's will be hosting their 2024 National Championship and the Sonata class their Regional Championship. VPRS class 1 and 2 are also signed up to be back competing at Poole as well. With its rediscovery in 2016, all yachts will be competing for the treasured Canford Cup as overall event winner.

A full schedule of social events is being planned at The Royal Motor Yacht Club, Parkstone Yacht Club and Poole Yacht Club, with assistance from the combined clubs around the harbour. New sponsors for 2024 will bring a fresh flavour to the weekend.

Make sure the date is in your diary and be sure to follow Poole Regatta on social media to find out the latest news as the event shapes up and as entries draw closer to opening. Visit pooleregatta.co.uk to find out more.
