Live Ocean Racing had another strong day at Foiling Week 2023 in Lake Garda, Italy and are currently tied for second overall on the leaderboard at the end of Day 2.

The ETF26 fleet started the day with the RAID race - the one long-distance race included in the schedule at each event in the series, before sailing three more short course races.

Live Ocean founder, and one of the team's biggest fans, Blair Tuke is in Lake Garda with the team for a short visit spending the day on the coach boat in support of the Live Ocean Racing team.

He reports back; An epic day and really good to be here with them."

"We've just watched the team do four races - 6th, 4th, 2nd and 2nd - got better as the day went on."

Subsequently the 6th place for Live Ocean Racing in the RAID race was upgraded to 4th after TeamPro and LadyTeamPro suffered disqualification.

Talking about the day on the water Liv Mackay says; "We started the day with the long-distance race which was not our finest moment, but we went into another three and had three good starts."

The team converted those good starts into good results recording two second placings to close out day two of the regatta.

"It's been a pretty good day overall. The team's sailing well, and we're all really enjoying it," Mackay adds.

Entreprises du Morbihan still holds the top spot at the end of day two, 4 points clear of Live Ocean Racing and TeamPro tied on 21 points.

Tomorrow's schedule includes five short course races.
