Cantiere del Pardo's fifty years' celebrations
What an unforgettable weekend! From the 23rd to the 25th of June Cantiere del Pardo celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in Portopiccolo. The event began on Friday with an exquisite gala dinner that gathered the whole Cantiere del Pardo Family: Grand Soleil, VanDutch and Pardo Yachts.
On Saturday, sailors raced the special edition of the GS Cup and Vintage Cup, while VanDutch and Pardo's owners participated in the first-ever Water Rally, which was an unforgettable experience. Sailing together in the wonderful scenery of Portopiccolo was the perfect way to celebrate fifty years of our shipyard.
On Sunday, Grand Soleil concluded the celebrations with the last day of sailing and awards. Thank you to all sea enthusiasts who took part in this very important milestone. It was an honour to celebrate this occasion with Cantiere del Pardo's family. Here's to the next fifty years!

The fiftieth anniversary special edition of the GS and GS Vintage Cup was a success!
The 21st edition of the Grand Soleil Cup and the Vintage Cup was special as both competitions were integral parts of the weekend of celebrations for the 50 years of Cantiere del Pardo.
The racing weekend, which took place in the splendid sea of Portopiccolo, did not disappoint the expectations of the 57 participating boat owners. All the models that have made Grand Soleil's history were the protagonists of the race: from the GS 34, the first model designed by Finot, to the GS 39 and GS 46 by Alain Jezequel; the GS 50 by Peterson; the iconic GS 42 and GS 45 - designed by German Frers - to the latest additions, the GS 40 and GS 44 by Matteo Polli and Nauta Design.
The successful outcome of the event was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Yacht Club Portopiccolo, Falconeri, Volvo Penta, and B&G. A heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, Intesa Sanpaolo, Bamar, Quick, G&G, Harken, and One Sails.
Two consecutive days filled with festivities: an ongoing commemoration of maritime life and sportsmanship, along with a significant occasion of unity for the entire Grand Soleil community. In this particular GS Cup, more than ever before, there were countless reasons to express gratitude towards the Cantiere del Pardo family.

Congratulations are in order!
Grand Soleil would like to congratulate all sailors who participated in this beautiful race with such great enthusiasm!
Winning the overall victory in the All Sails category was the GS 48 RACE - a project by Marco Lostuzzi - ATHYRIS, owned by Sergio Taccheo, while the GS 52 LC claimed the top spot in the White Sails category - also designed by Lostuzzi - LIUBA, owned by Fabio Montanari. Another highlight was the victory of Maya GS 52, which won All Sails Vintage and the historic Lady Liner GS 46.3 which won first place in White Sails Vintage.
