The World ARC Pacific fleet have reunited in Musket Cove, Fiji after almost a month exploring the beautiful islands of Fiji with white sand beaches and palm trees galore!

All the boats have now arrived in Musket Cove and the programme kicked off with everyone enjoying a dinner at the resort restaurant this evening. It was a great opportunity for the boats to all get together and catch up on their time in Fiji over the last few weeks and also to say goodbye to the boats that are leaving the rally here.

The buffet meal was followed by a meke, a wonderful show of traditional dancing and music performed by locals on the island. Paul Tetlow, WCC Managing Director, gave a speech to welcome the boats to Musket Cove and to say goodbye to the boats leaving the rally. Berlinetta, Chica.3 and Choucas 3 will all stay in Fiji, they were presented with a trophy and certificate as a memento of their tremendous achievement of having sailed across the Pacific from Saint Lucia in the Caribbean to Fiji.

The local group then sang Isa Lei, a traditional farewell song in Fiji to say goodbye to the boats leaving and the crews who will continue their journey to Vanuatu very shortly. The fleet led by Andy from Manuia joined together to sing a rendition of My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean to round off the evening.

Participants are looking forward to an early start in the morning with a group heading off on a guided walk around the island followed by fun and games on the beach.
