Between 12th and 17th September 2023 at the Cannes Yachting Festival ICE Yachts is proud to present two world premieres: the ICE 70 GC and the newly launched ICE 52 RS Anniversary.

Both models are the result of collaboration with the Felci Yacht Design studio together with the yard's technical office.

The keyword is characterized by quality and comfort which distinguishes all ICE hulls with a special focus on on-board comfort.

ICE 70 Grand Comfort is a source of pride for the shipyard because it denotes its continuous and steady expansion after the successes of the previous two models.

ICE 70 GC is a technologically advanced boat with ample comfortable interior and exterior spaces, easy to drive without sacrificing performance and safety.

Many other details, to be discovered by climbing aboard, highlight how the deck study was conducted in the search for a synthesis between a deck ideal for relaxed cruising life and that of seamanship and efficiency, necessary during long-distance sailing or racing. Particularly elegant as well as functional are the maxi dodger and the two bimini to protect the helmsman and guest cockpit. All goodies intended to emphasize the focus of the Ice 70 Grand Comfort, which is precisely comfort.

Following the success of the previous model, at the stern we find the seats that have been extended towards the middle of the boat, thus offering two chaise longues and allowing more storage space.

The main essence used in the furnishings is teak left natural, the first message of how classicism and nautical tradition can be married with the contemporary. The inserts that cover the vertical walls and create a continuum throughout the living spaces are made of natural leather.

The aft area, organized with the captain's cabin, communicating with the galley area, is completely self-contained to ensure considerable privacy for the owner and his guests.

The forward area is dedicated to the master cabin, which is spacious and elegant with a master bathroom complete with shower and sauna all lined in teak and with a small study where one can retire in absolute tranquility, and the guest area consisting of a cabin with a double bed and ample closets and a dedicated bathroom.

The ICE 52 RS Anniversary is the seventeenth example of the ICE 52. It is a member of the RS series, which includes the lightest, sportiest and best performing boats.

The metallic selenite grey colouring, reminiscent of a sports car livery, fits perfectly with the elegant and aggressive lines of the Felci Yacht Design hull, also highlighted by the absence of opening. The 3.5 mm synthetic teak supplied by Plasdeck cladding contrasts with the deckhouse, which is painted white.

The innovations presented on the ICE 52 RS Anniversary promise a significant increase in performance. The new keel configuration is the result of the design by the Felci studio, which has developed new lines for both the fin and the numerically controlled milled bulb, bringing the overall depth to 3.2 m. The new mast is made of high-modulus carbon fibre and is designed for a square-top mainsail, with double backstays, carbon shrouds, and adjustable steering wheels from dedicated winches. Harken winches 65.3 carbon 3-speed allow the full potential of the increased sail plan to be exploited, as well as raising the aesthetic appeal of the deck equipment.

The layout of the interior has been modified for family use, with two large three-person aft cabins served by a bathroom, and the owner's cabin in the bow with an attached bathroom. This allows maximum exploitation of the union of galley and dinette volumes, creating space and luminosity that balance the absence of hull glazing. All the interior spaces are embellished by the use of real teak, as requested by the owners, and by the visible carbon fibre details, which echo the modern classic style that has now become a signature of the ICE and Felci partnership.

The systems were adapted to the standards required by the Caribbean climate of the Cayman Islands, the destination of the new ICE 52 RS. A new 40.000 BTU air conditioning system was fitted for all rooms, powered by a 6kW generator in addition to the batteries.
