Sea4All, inclusive sailing in Barcolana 2023, the most crowed sailing race in the world

Sea4All in Barcolana: a week full of inclusion. Barcolana - the international sailing regatta - which is also a wonderful festival of the city, of the sea, the wind - is now on its 55th edition and will be held in Trieste on October 8th.... for all.

As usual, the most crowded sailing race (with more than 2000 boats) will see the participation of Sea4All - Tiliaventum from Lignano Sabbiadoro with its inclusive teams on board on four sailing boats, among which Càpita, the performing and accessible daysailer, one-of-a-kind, on which you can board by the proper wheelchair, held the helm, maneuver... always as active protagonist also during the regatta.

Tiliaventum, a italian sea sport association, has been promoting for decades sea sports for all through the Sea4All initiatives that are carried out continuously throughout the whole year, with inclusive participation in the activities (not only sailing, also sup4all, kite4all, wakeboard, diving, excursions, aggregative initiatives etc.) of people with physical, sensory, intellectual-relational disabilities, fragility, discomfort, terminally ill,... together with the so-called able-bodied, without any physical, mental nor economic barrier - the activities are free of charge.

Càpita will be moored to Trieste the whole week of the Barcolana, from 4th to October 7th in Marina San Giusto, where it can be visited and sailed with the proper wheelchair for those who use it, for free, both mornings and afternoons, upon reservation on site at the Sea4All stand, or by contacting (available for these Sea4All sailings are also Albatros - the GS43, Aylin - Elan333 and W&S - Italia12.98).

Sea4All will be also present with its stand in the Barcolana Village (n degrees64 seafront close to San Giusto, in the center of the City) on the shores of Trieste, to inform about the activities for all, on accessible boats, on the aids, the equipment, fittings and procedures, about the possibilities of living the sea for all through the different sport disciplines and about the territorial sites in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and in other parts in Italy and abroad, about the informational and formative trainings, about the activities such as the Community Laboratory and much more for an increasingly fulfilling everyday life....for everyone.
