The final day of registration and weigh-in at the 2023 U.S. National Championship hosted by the Lake Geneva Yacht Club is complete.

Teams spent the day prepping, tuning and participating in a shifty, early-afternoon practice session. Twenty-nine Melges 24 teams are confirmed to race the Championship, 14 of which will race the all-amateur Corinthian division.

Friday, opening day of the Championship is expected to produce three races. A perfect breeze out of the west and drastically cooler temps are in the forecast. Racing commences at 1100 CT.
