The Corinth Canal is closed for restoration work

The Corinth Canal SA informed customers and partners that the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport ceased operations after the 31st of October.

The restoration works started again on November 1st and are estimated to be completed in March 2024.

The Canal operated uninterruptedly and safely throughout the summer season. In 2022, tourist and commercial ships of more than 70 different nationalities were served and the total amount of crossings amounted to approximately 6,000. In addition, customers had the opportunity to utilize new online electronic services (e-ticketing).
