Sailing in Brazilian waters requires more planning and preparation than in some other sailing areas.

Currents, distances between anchorages and an almost non-existent sailing infrastructure may be daunting for some, but for Austrian sailors Gerlinde and Josef Nöst it provided for some wonderful experiences and memories.
