Oyster Yachts sees unprecedented demand for luxury adventure

Following high demand for the Oyster World Rally, the British manufacturer of luxury bluewater sailing yachts is inviting global adventurers to a circumnavigation focused showcase at St Katharine Docks in London from 24-26 April.

The Oyster World Rally is a luxury sailing circumnavigation spanning 16 months. Covering 27,000nm and visiting 27 destinations, a fleet of 30 Oyster Yachts complete the voyage with the reassurance of personalised 24/7 support from Oyster's dedicated Rally Team.

After announcing dates for the Oyster World Rally 2028-29 earlier this month, Oyster has seen unprecedented demand for places ahead of the official open date for entries on 18 June 2024, with the Oyster World Rally 2026-27 now fully subscribed.

Sailors and adventurers alike are invited to join Oyster Yachts at St Katharine Docks from 24 to 28 April for a Private View event.

Those considering a circumnavigation can get up close and personal with three Oyster yachts - the 2023 European Yacht of the Year Luxury Cruiser Oyster 495, a 2026-27 Oyster World Rally ready Oyster 565 and the Oyster 595. Ranging from 50-60 feet in length, each bluewater yacht can be sailed shorthanded and is ideal for a circumnavigation.

An Oyster World Rally Showcase event will run alongside the private viewings from 24-26 April, providing deep insights and inspiration for those looking to take on the adventure of a lifetime, and allowing them time to visit a rally-ready yacht. The 565 on show is specified with a bespoke sail set-up, luxury interior, highly tech navigation equipment, and communication and entertainment systems - and will be beginning their circumnavigation in 2026.

The showcase will feature talks from Oyster World Rally Director Allie Smith covering topics like the rally route, practicalities, and unique insights, as well as Oyster's new tailored entry packages.

Entrants to upcoming Oyster World Rallies can choose from three new bespoke packages - The Adventurer, Explorer, and Voyager - which all provide entry to the Rally and the legendary support of the Oyster teams including Logistics, Technical, Service, Crew, Warranty and After Sales. For the ultimate luxury adventure and broader exploration on and off the Rally route, the Explorer Package provides a personalised luxury itinerary with Concierge service throughout the adventure, and for an end-to-end stress and planning free solution. The Oyster World Rally 2024-25 fleet left Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua in January 2024 and is currently sailing through French Polynesia.
