World ARC 2024-25 - Beautiful Bora Bora

by World Cruising Club 16 May 2024 08:45 UTC

When you take in the iconic and striking mountainous backdrop, coupled with a mesmerising lagoon and an array of white-sand beaches, it's easy to see why Bora Bora is nicknamed "the Pearl of the Pacific".

The famed blue lagoon promises fabulous snorkelling in gin-clear water, with the chance to swim with manta rays, eagle rays, turtles, and a multitude of fish. The sea colour is pinch-me-beautiful, ranging from the hint of blue diamond to stunning Bombay Sapphire. This is paradise found.

After five weeks of free cruising exploring French Polynesia, this week the World ARC boats caught up with each other in Bora Bora for a rendezvous party or two at the Bora Bora Yacht Club.

There were hugs and kisses as they met like old friends; sharing stories of the islands visited and the adventures they'd had. With the drinks and chatter flowing, there was a lovely, happy atmosphere as everyone really enjoyed having the 'band' back together again.
