Outer Reef Yachts, a global leader in the design and construction of long-range motor yachts, is proud to announce a significant expansion of its global operations through a strategic merger with the highly respected Dutch shipyard, Lynx Yachts.

This merger represents a pivotal step in Outer Reef Yachts' mission to strengthen its presence not only in Europe but across renowned global cruising grounds.

Through this alliance, Outer Reef Yachts is poised to strengthen its presence in Europe, capitalizing on the Netherlands' rich tradition of superior yacht building. With plans to expand its product line, the Outer Reef executive team conducted a year long, in-depth evaluation of European shipyard options, assessing their procedures and methodologies. This process included on-site visits to various yards across Europe, including Turkish and Dutch facilities. Ultimately, Lynx and its renowned Dutch build process stood out as exemplary. Outer Reef will benefit from the expertise of Lynx's highly regarded build management team, whose extensive experience in the elite Dutch superyacht industry will be key to advancing Outer Reef's growth objectives.

Jeff Druek, CEO of Outer Reef Yachts stated, "Expanding our presence in the Netherlands and integrating the highly regarded Lynx Yachts management team into our operations marks a significant milestone for Outer Reef Yachts. This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and quality, enabling us to meet the growing demand for adventure yachting across Europe, the United States, Australia, and beyond."

Under this new alliance, the shipyard will operate as Outer Reef Yachts - Netherlands, further solidifying the company's commitment to delivering exceptional products in the European market. The first yacht, currently under construction at this facility, will be the Outer Reef Yachts Adventure 780, set to launch in February 2025. This vessel will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Outer Reef, as the shipyard embarks on the construction of a range of models spanning 24 to 43 meters - all reflecting the innovation, craftsmanship, and luxury that have become synonymous with the Outer Reef brand.

Outer Reef Yachts' global expansion is not limited to Europe. This merger will allow the company to strategically design and produce new yachts that cater to the increasing demand for adventure yachting across major cruising grounds worldwide. By integrating Lynx's rich heritage of Dutch yacht craftsmanship with Outer Reef's own legacy of excellence, this partnership will enable the company to offer a broader, more diverse portfolio of yachts, ensuring that customers across the globe continue to receive the highest standard of service and quality.

Outer Reef Yachts will continue to remain committed to ensuring that this merger delivers substantial benefits to new and loyal customers, partners, and employees alike, and will set new benchmarks for excellence in long range yacht construction.
