Squib

Hyde Sails have had an unprecedented season in the Squib class, powering winners at many of the key class regatta in both the UK and Ireland. The new B3 main and jib designs have shown great speed winning the Gold Cup, East Coasts and Burnham Bank Holiday Regattas. Alongside the success of the new designs, our proven 422 designs have continued to produce great results including winning the 2024 UK National Championships.

XOD

X166 had a success season and was once again in the fight come the end of the prestigious Captain’s Cup, in the end they narrowly lost out by 3 points to claim 2nd overall. Their scorecard for the week was impressive, with no results outside the top 5 for the week. For 2025 we have an updated jib design with a fuller head and slightly flatter entry angle. While waiting for the vote on the new spinnaker rule to be decided in November, we have developed both a design to the new rule and developed a modification of our design to the current rules focused on broader sailing angles the class largely now sails.
